The Hip Pocket Orchestra celebrates 15-years of excellence in live music. From Boston, Newport, the Cape, and Islands and beyond, industry professionals insist on the Hip Pocket Orchestra.

Under the watchful eyes of owner/manager Stuart Camiel, musical director Eric Byers, and your host and bandleader Karen Bell, The Hip Pocket Orchestra offers an incredible 10-piece band that delivers gorgeous dinner music and killer dance sets. This band understands the intangibles of running a successful party — keeping the dance floor packed.

From dressing sharp, playing long sets, and taking short breaks, this group has taken all of its cues from the greats. This band provides a unique multi-generational approach to dance music that is sinfully fun, but definitely sophisticated.

The Pocket is self-contained, and brings an outstanding sound system utilizing the most current technology available. Jokingly calling themselves “masters of spatial reasoning”, 10-piece can set up in a space roughly 20’ wide by 10’ deep.
